staff team

If you come to visit us, the first person you meet might be from our staff team. Or you may be welcomed by a member of our church family.

Our church family reflects the cosmopolitan character of London. We mainly live within a few miles of St Luke's.

Alistair TresidderAlistair Tresidder (minister)

Alistair has been our vicar for over fifteen years. Prior to St Luke's, he was a curate at St Anne's, Limehouse and studied at Cranmer Hall in Durham. He is married to Sheena and they have five children, three chickens and other animals. He recently entered his sixth decade.

Jonnie ArmstrongJonnie Armstrong (youth & children's worker)

Jonnie moved to London from the South West where he served as a Ministry Apprentice in Exeter and then was a teacher and Assistant Housemaster in Taunton. He leads all our youth and childrens' work at St Luke's. Jonnie is married to Erica and on days off you will see them either going for a walk on Hampstead Heath, frequenting local coffee shops or Jonnie dragging Erica into Waterstones.

Shannon BingShannon Bing (apprentice)

Originally from Taiwan, Shannon came to England to study IT and Education at Middlesex University and UCL respectively. When she came to St Luke's she says her English was poor but everyone was so helpful and looked after her and her language began to blossom! Shannon loves tennis, is learning to ski and enjoys classical music, jazz and museums. She currently helps with the busy youth and children's programme at the church.

Simon JonesSimon Jones (apprentice)

Simon joined St Luke's as an apprentice in September 2016, having previously worked for a local medical committee. As well as studying part-time on the Cornhill Training Course he is also the church administrator and supports our youth and children's ministry. He is a long-suffering supporter of Tranmere Rovers FC.
